Aluminium Sulphate (non-ferric alum) is a widely used primary coagulant for drinking water and wastewater treatment, neutralising the charge on suspended particles so they clump together and settle or filter out cleanly.
It is also used as a sizing and fixing agent in paper manufacturing, as a mordant in textile dyeing, and in leather tanning and pH/alkalinity adjustment alongside our ferric coagulant range.
